    Skincare Secrets 2.0

So, I’m a mother to a toddler. I have been the primary carer for my daughter since the birth. Having our plates full with couple of Businesses and couple of new ventures and the new baby, I and hubby decided that one has to be focused on businesses and one on the baby to keep ourselves sane. But I still can’t keep my butt out of my business 😐. I want the best of both the worlds. So, right now I’m on the Multi-Tasking Level 9.03. And this desire of being top of my every single game took a toll on my both physical and mental health, my skin. After all, I realised that no matter how badly I want to be the best mother, the best business-woman, the best artist that I can be; nothing will be fruitful if I don’t take charge of health and care. Having said that, let’s descend on the point: ‘Skincare’!

I started having dark circles and some dry patches during those tough-times, so I decided I needed something extra, something more nourishing than what I was using at that time; as I wasn’t able to drink enough water throughout the day, while taking care of a newborn baby. I was still unsure if the changes I made to my skincare were effective until 4 months ago when I started getting compliments for my skin from strangers just like before pregnancy. Hence, I decided it shouldn’t be a secret anymore. Every woman has a right to a healthy and happy skin! So, here’s those changes that I made.

1️⃣ Clinique Liquid Facial Soap Mild

This Facial Soap by Clinique stands for what it claims. I wanted something that’s tough on daily build-ups like excess oil (sebum), dead skin cells, bacteria, dirt and other impurities. (Well, I’d mention Make-up residue too, but I don’t wear makeup regularly. ) And, doesn’t rob off the natural lustre of my skin. This Facial Soap exactly did that for me.

    2️⃣ Natural Sea Sponge

Yes, I use Natural Sea Sponge on my face, and not on my body. I use it along with the Clinique Facial Soap. I think it provides enough of exfoliation to my skin, resulting into a clean and smooth skin.

3️⃣ Noni Glow Face Oil By Kora Organics

So, this oil by Miranda Kerr has been a complete game-changer for me. It has single-handedly treated my ‘New Mom’ Dark-circles and dry patches. It’s super- hydrating but doesn’t feel oily, sticky/heavy on skin. Infused with Certified Organic Noni Extract, Rosehip Oil, Pomegranate Oil and Sea Buckthorn Oil this natural elixir is a rich source of antioxidants and essential fatty acids that will leave your skin looking and feeling healthy and radiant. Plus, it ticks my box of  Free from parabens, sulphates, synthetic colours and fragrances and silicones, Organic and Not tested on animals.

Above all these, secrets there’s one secret; well, it’s not a secret, it’s a Golden Rule to a beautiful skin:

Cleanse and Hydrate your skin every single night before sleep. ( No ifs, No buts, No coz)

I hope, you enjoyed learning my skincare secrets. Take care of yourselves!
