    My Secret Buttermilk Recipe 🀫

     Hi everyone! Hope you’re all doing great! I am here with my β€˜secret’ Buttermilk aka Masala Chhas Recipe as promised in my last post! 

    Masala Chhas is a cool beverage thats is consumed all year round by us Indians. It is an ideal accompaniment with the whole Album Indian platter and also could be enjoyed just on its own as a cooling beverage. 

    Masala Chhas has two benefits : Hydration and Digestion. Most people use it to beat the heat while it also helps our digestive system. 

    So basically Masala Chhas aka Buttermilk is churned organic youghurt but people flavour it according to their taste and tradition. And I’m here to share my secret recipe (no more a secret now!) with you guys! 

    Ingredients: (Makes 2 glasses)

    πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ Organic /Indian Yoghurt – 1 cup

    πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ 5 to 10 Mint Leaves

    πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ a bunch of fresh coriander 

    πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ a little piece of green Chilly 

    πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ a little piece of ginger

    πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ dry coriander powder 

    πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ Cumin seeds half a tbsp

    πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ Black salt or Himalayan salt half a tbsp

    πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ some ice cubes

    πŸ‘©β€πŸ³a little water

    Take all these ingredients into a mixer

    And churn it well untill its all mixed well.

    Tip: Add in the water little by little if your’e not sure of the consistency you want. So, its not too watery as an outcome.
