So, as you all know, I have a hyper-active 19 Months Old. And almost halfway through the Quarantine, I realized that we’re out of Paint/WaterColour. And mu little ninja loves water and color play. So, I thought to #DiyWaterColour with the ingredients from my pantry.
I have attached the YouTube Video too for your convenience.
What you’ll need:
- 1/2 cup shampoo / handwash / body wash etc (I used baby shampoo as it is gentle on their skin)
- 1/2 cup cornflour
- Food colouring
- Mixing bowls
- Paint palette or small individual containers
- Paint brushes
These measurements are approximates and of course, you can make more or less if you wish.
How to make water colour
Divide the shampoo and cornflour into separate mixing bowls – one bowl for each colour you are going to use. Add a few drops of food colouring to each bowl, then stir in a teaspoon-ish of cold water. Mix well and add more water as required until the mixture is the right consistency. It needs to be thick enough to stick to the paint brush without dripping off, but thin enough to be able to paint a line.
I hope this video will come in handy for you guys!
